Getting a Hair Transplant in Mexico: Canada travel restrictions 2021
Many Canadians are traveling to Mexico for affordable hair transplants. The average price of a FUE Hair transplant in Tijuana, Mexico is between $2,300 to $6,900 USD.
Besides the price, it’s important to be aware of the current travel restrictions.
It’s highly recommended to be fully vaccinated and have a negative Covid-19 test before leaving Canada.
To arrive at Tijuana from Canada there are two recommended options. The first one is to fly directly to Tijuana, Mexico. The second option is to fly to San Diego, California, and then cross the border by car to Tijuana.
For the first option, a “health declaration form” for the Mexican government might be required. It can be filled online or at Tijuana’s airport once arrived.
For the second option, The United States requires a negative test no older than 3 days before the flight. Mexico does not require negative proof of Covid-19, nor proof of vaccination when entering the country by car.
For the return trip, these are the restrictions for fully vaccinated travels when entering Canada.
- Have one of the government-approved vaccines
- Register to ArriveCan and fill in the information of the vaccine and schedule a test once arrived in Canada.
- Present a negative test before boarding the flight to Canada.
- Have a 14-day quarantine plan, a government official will determine the meeting of all of the requirements.
- Take the arrival test
